Aro-mas is an excellent choice as a carrier oil in aromatherapy and

Aro-mas, a lightly refined
and deodorized oil blend have been developed by Proteco specifically
for the aromatherapy and massage market. The super-fine blend of this
high profile oil is a balanced combination of Apricot, Macadamia and
Sunflower Oils.
1. Emolliency - Emmolients
are substances that impact softness, smoothness and flexibility to the
skin and have the ability to maintain these conditions for some time.
2. Occlusivity
-Refers to the ability to create a film on the skin surface that
interferes with the evaporation of water from the skin surface. The
occlusive character therefore is utilized to increase the water content
of the skin. This increase alters the viscoelasticity of stratum
corneum and makes the skin more supple.
3. Lubricity - Lubricity is related to emolliency and is due to the ability of Aro-mas to reduce frictional effects between surfaces.
