Symptoms responding to treatment with Black Cohosh include hot flushes, vaginal thinning and drying, night sweats, sleep disturbances and anxiety. Anyone with a family history of breast cancer should not take Black Cohosh. In very rare cases Black Cohosh has been associated with liver failure.
